Criteria  

1. Persons of good character who have met the requirements as outlined in the Membership Criteria. 

2. Person who has studied psychology at the master level and working as a professional counsellor / teaching counselling at their respective institute.

 

Benefits 

1. Increased visibility as a BCPA Member;

2.  Participation in Bharatiya Counselling Psychology Association events: trainings, conferences (where BCPA Member, BCPA RC, BCPA CP and BCPA IP shall represent their area), seminars; Bharatiya Counselling Psychology Association assembly, working groups;

3. Eligibility for participation to BCPA fund/revenue generation model (hereafter referred to as "BCPA Fund") Bharatiya Counselling Psychology Association funded projects (restricted calls for proposals);

4. Guidance and support by BCPA Members;

5. Use of the Bharatiya Counselling Psychology Association logo: all signatories of this commitment (i.e. BCPA Members, BCPA RC, BCPA CP and BCPA IP) shall use the Bharatiya Counselling Psychology Association logo and slogan;

6. Use of information and training material developed within the BCPA framework, e.g. BCPA Social Media Policy;

7. Free promotion material developed by BCPA Members;

8. Use of BCPA Members data bank and referral network.

9. Life Members may use the initials MBCPA after their name.

 

Fee
The membership fee for various categories would be decided in the Annual General Meeting. At present, it would be as follows until modified by the
Governing Board

• A. Founding Members (BCPA FM) - INR 5000/- Life Time (Closed)

• B. Life Member (BCPA LM) - INR 1000/- Life Time

• C. Provisional Member (BCPA PM) - INR 200/- Yearly

• D. International Members (BCPA IP) - USD 100/- Life Time

• E. Institutional Members (BCPA IM) - INR 10000/- Life Time

• F. Student Members (BCPA SM) - INR 100/- Yearly

• G. Associate Members (BCPA AM) - INR 200/- Yearly

 

How to apply

Online Mode: Click on the online membership form, fill it and upload your documents after filling the online form.

Offline Mode: To apply, please download the application form and send the filled in form along with your membership fee (in favour of Bharatiya Counselling Psychology Association) and proof of qualification to the address given in the form. The membership fee can be submitted through Cheque / DD / Online Transfer. For depositing the fee online use the following bank details
